Author’s Note

Most of these poems were developed from experiences that actually occurred in my life. Every cause and effect that occurred in my life brought about the birth of a poem. I love these poems just as much as I love life. These poems have given me the strength to endure the many obstacles that were placed in my path. I find so much delight and comfort in reading these poems when my spirit is low.

I pray that you will read and re-read these poems to try and understand the person that I have become in Jehovah God. Many of my friends from my home town may remember the old me, but thanks to God I am a new creation. I give God all the glory, because it is through Him that I have the knowledge to put words together in poetic form.

I pray that these poems will be a blessing to you and lift you up when you are at your lowest point in life. Try and feel the power of the words meaning of these poems. Again I pray that they will bless you real good. Whenever I take pen in hand it’s like a calmness comes over me. There is nothing I enjoy more than writing. I will be putting together part 2 of Reflections of The Soul in the near future, so watch out for it and help support the sale of the book.
